If so, it is important to do more than just listen to eyewitness reports in order to perform an accident reconstruction: it’s important to hire a private detective to investigate the reports and the accident to determine what really happened.Accident reconstruction is a process by which an accident is researched. A private investigator will review the stories from witnesses who watched the accident take place as well as those who were in one or more of the vehicles involved. In addition, the scene of the accident will be visited so that the information can be put into perspective.During the process of researching an accident reconstruction, the private investigator and his team will also review videotaped evidence if it’s available and take photos and measurements of skid marks on the pavement – both those indicating braking and sliding to the side. Once all of the information has been collected and evaluated, the reconstruction of the accident can begin if it is found to be necessary.Accident reconstruction may not be necessary in the case of one car being rear-ended by another, but can make all the difference if the accident involves failed seatbelts or rolled vehicles. In the cases where accident reconstruction is necessary, it can be used to determine the rate of speed at which the involved cars were moving. It can also be used to consider the conditions of the road, the angle of impact and more – all of which can contribute to which driver was responsible for the accident.Because accident reconstruction can provide visual details of the scene rather than just testimony, it can prove to be a particularly valuable resource when you are asked to prove a case for your client. However, that doesn’t mean that you should conduct the accident reconstruction on your own.A private investigator can take the information that you have about the accident, access additional information at the scene and make the time to talk with witnesses while the accident is still fresh in their minds. Private investigators who are skilled at accident reconstruction are able to do the research, manage the information and work with software and engineers to accurately recreate the accident – and what led up to it.Whether your work involves representing someone who was in an accident or a member of their family or your work involves determining whether or not the individual has a case, accident reconstruction is a tool that you can use to prove your case. You can be sure that the insurance companies will take advantage of accident reconstruction to determine whose responsibility the accident was; why give them an unfair advantage? Hire a private investigator so that you can be sure of what really happened – so that you too can take advantage of accident reconstruction, determine responsibility for an accident and get your clients the benefits that they deserve.

Ahh, you remember it, don’t you? Sitting in the back of your family’s station wagon as a kid, your father pulls up to the gas pump and a station attendant—an occupation about as extinct as the dinosaurs—came running out with a rag in his hand, leaned into the driver’s window and said… “Diesel or unleaded?”Those days are long gone. And I’m not just referring to the attendant. Nowadays, at least in the
U.S., you can expect to find three things at a gas pump: self-serve, pay first, and unleaded gasoline only.Misconceptions about diesel fuel being “dirtier” than unleaded gas several years ago ultimately led to diesel’s obsolescence in the more environmentally progressive
United States. Car companies began to manufacture cars that, for the most part, ran on traditional gasoline. In response, however, steps were taken to improve the cleanliness of diesel and now major car companies have begun to sell diesel-powered vehicles to consumers once again. In the past, especially in the
United States, diesel fuel was considerably dirtier than unleaded gasoline. Vehicles in the
United States also tended to be built for traditional gasoline, with the exception of large trucks, buses, and semis. In recent years, however, steps have been taken to improve the cleanliness of diesel fuel through regulation, and many companies have begun selling popular consumer cars that run on diesel fuel. One such company is Isuzu Motors, known for its popular 5-passenger Ascender SUV, and two models of high-performing pick up trucks (the i-290 and i-370). Isuzu’s diesel engines have won a laundry list of awards in past years including “Truck of the Year” by Motor Trend Magazine, “Executive Diesel Car of the Year 2002″ by Diesel Car Magazine (a publication in the U.K.), “Germany’s best small and compact car of the Year 2001″ by Mot Magazine (published in Germany), as well as having been named multiple times by Ward’s Communications of the U.S. as one of the “10 Best Engines.” In addition, Isuzu vehicles were voted the top medium-duty truck brand six times in seven years by truck dealers. Impressive, but not fully convinced that diesel’s better? Keep reading…Diesel fuel actually burns more efficiently than gasoline, thus having a better fuel economy—about 30% more efficient on average. Why?Diesel is denser than its unleaded competitor. Proponents of gasoline are quick to point out that diesel engines produce more greenhouse emissions, which is true, emissions with diesel are about 15% higher than those of traditional unleaded gas due to higher volumetric energy density. However, the increased fuel efficiency more than offsets the higher percentage, so in the long run, diesels produce less emissions— 15% more per gallon used, but a trip in the good ole family car will use 30% less fuel to get to wherever you’re going.Granted, this wasn’t the case with Dad’s old wagon. Back then, before the anti-diesel crusade, diesel engines were creating more emissions because they simply weren’t efficient. Now, with the modern diesel engine achieving a 20- 40% better fuel economy, it’s time to give diesel a second look. But that’s not the only exciting news about diesel. Originally, the diesel engine was created as a way to run vehicles using vegetable oils. While farmers originally couldn’t compete with big oil companies, with gas prices soaring, there’s been a renewed interest in alternative fuel sources—and food-based diesel fuels can be produced quickly, cheaply, and with the abundance of products grown in our very own country. These “hybrid diesels” also known as “biodiesel” are compatible with existing diesel engines and can also be made from waste oils gathered from restaurants or homes—an alternative that serves several ecological benefits at the same time.

If you are going to be attending an international car show then there are so things that you will need to think about before you go. You will need to check with your family and make sure that is what they want to do. Also you will need to plan out for flight and hotel plans before you leave because there is nothing worse then getting to an event and not having any plans and not being able to find a hotel then you would be out of luck and would probably be stuck in some little room. The first thing that you will need to do when planning out your trip is always know the dates of a car show that is international. The only worst thing that I can think of is for you to lose track of the months and for you to spend all that money on just a plane ride. That would be a disaster and therefore would cost you thousands of dollars that you just threw away because you got careless and didn’t check the dates. After you have checked the dates and made sure all is well then you need to start trying to find a hotel in the area of the event. Nothing will be worse then having to sleep in your rental car the night or day before the show. You will always want to get a room lined up so as soon as you get there you can just go dump all your luggage off and go exploring the area in which you are in. after you have a room reserved you should start looking for a rental car you will want to get a rental car that is cheap and you might even be able to ship your car over there to showcase in the exhibition.Who knows you might enter your vehicle and win every category, that will be worth the trip alone to win a contest international and then come back to the states and be able to say yeah man I won a car show in Portugal and won every spot not just the tuner division. I had a friend that did just that with his 1997 Honda civic. All he wanted to do was go over there and get a paintjob and his interior done in leather and he ended up winning thing. That is the whole meaning of upgrading and building a car. Being able to ship it over seas and go to an international car show and shut it down American style with a tuner. Not many people can go over seas and win but it is always a good chance if you have a nice looking ride. Even though it may cost a lot to ship your car over it will still be worth it to come back and say you won a car show when you were just going to an international event to gander.

Unless you are lucky enough to have a huge wad of money lying around, and very few of us have, then when it comes to buying a new car you are going to have to think about the best choice for you when it comes to borrowing to buy a car. One of the most popular ways of borrowing is to take out a loan with the dealer you are buying the car from, while there are many benefits to this option there are also downsides. One of the biggest pluses is that providing you have a good history of credit then this is one of the easiest ways to get finance, although it isn’t always the cheapest rate of interest you can get deals which are very attractive. The majority of dealerships will put together deals such as giving you free tax and test or will give you a great deal on your car insurance for the first year or two. When you take things such as this into account you can make savings and it could be worthwhile taking this option.Another option when it comes to borrowing to buy a car is taking out a loan yourself, sometimes this can be the best way to get a good rate of interest and if you go with the money in hand then you can sometimes negotiate with the dealer to knock something off the price of the car. If you are considering going this way for your finance then you should look around to give you a good idea of how much the make and model of the car is roughly going for and this will give you an idea of how much you will have to borrow. Of course you should have weighed up the low rate of interest against any deals that the dealer might offer you if you take out finance from them. Whichever way you choose to go when it comes to borrowing to buy a car, the internet is always the best place to start. You can check out the lowest rate of interest at the bank and loan companies and very often the lowest rates on interest can be found online, not only this but you are able to check out the many car dealerships and this is without a doubt he quickest and easiest way to compare any special offers they might have.

If you are the person that loves cars and can’t get enough of the raw thrill of owning one then you might need to get together some of your friends and some of their friends and start a car club.If you want to make your own group and pull it together then you need to be a very good organizer. You need to have a president, a vice president, and you will basically need a campaign of your own when you start out your car club. You will need all those people because there are many different things in a group that must be done by many people at one time.If you have a hard time planning your day then you don’t need to start a car club but if you can organize good and are willing to be able to start a group and keep it running then you should give it a try. If it doesn’t work out you can always give it to another friend of yours to try. Other than that you should be in a good state of mind because you are the one who started the group so therefore you need to be the one to continue building it. You shouldn’t start an organization if you are going to leave it later, you want to start a group because you want people to come together with all their rides and actually make something. If you were to take a look around your area and see all the organizations then you might just want to join one of those but if you don’t have any in your area than that just may be the very reason why you are starting the car club that you want. If you don’t have any groups in your area and you love automobiles then you need to continue with your master plan in making an organization of your own because if there are none in your area all those people to be able to come to and get help.If you are really interested in your car club and you think it is going to work then you need to make a good website. It will take a little bit of time but it will be worth the work in the end because you will be able to sell products and things on your site that other groups might not be able to do. You might have the talent to make a site that gets a lot of attention that is a good thing and that will cause more people to join your group. If you can get more and more people to join you might even be able to start getting money from your organization by charging people to become part of the group you just say its $10 a month and you get this big windshield sticker and a shirt to wear. Those are just some ideas to what you can do with your new car club.

If you join a car club you are going to benefit from many things such as being part of the organization, being able to get ideas and opinions from others about the club and cars. You will be able to make friends and get help from people that you didn’t even know existed around your area. There are just many things in general that an auto club can help you benefit from. You being able to use a group to your advantage is something that you have that many other people don’t. If you are in an organization then you have access to people that can help you all the time and even get you cheaper and better parts. You may not know something and they might want to help out. Being in an organization has all the benefits in the world and if you don’t think so then you probably shouldn’t be in a car club.People who are in auto clubs usually build their car all year long and go to one specific car show every year. So if you are in a automotive organization and you have a vehicle you’re building you might be able to go to the auto show that they are going to if you get some help and start building your ride. There are so many people that will love to show you and help you with your vehicle that you will probably be able to set down the tools for a minute and just step back and watch your friends work on your ride while you picture it being done. You may be the top dog at a car club so teaching others and showing others the way to build a good ride can be a good thing to your advantage as you may get well known for being so kind and helpful in your auto club. You can help so much that one piece of info to one person might mean their whole vehicle to them because you helped them with the missing link. All around, being part of an auto group can help everyone and even yourself. You may be the only person in your group to ever help someone build a vehicle. You may be the first person to get parts wholesale in your group. There are no limits to what you can do in a car club so go out and start getting involved today. You might even meet someone there that might turn out to be your new best friend and might turn out to be a life long friend. That is the type of stuff that a group can give back to you after you have been so helpful to others. So go out and get started today or you might get stuck doing something else like working.

If you are trying to find the car show of your dreams and want to put the ride of your dreams in it then you need to find the right one that is for you. Even though it may seem hard you should be able to find something along the lines of a good auto expo to you without trying too hard. There are all kinds of exhibitions everywhere. All you need to do is get out and go look at some of them. The best ways to find a good auto show is to look in your local newspaper or just hear it from around town or school. Usually if a town is having an auto show at a school it will posted at school and all around the area of the school. If the car show is just for the town then you will most likely see it in the newspaper and it will be most likely on the front page or around that area.Maybe another thing that you can do is just gander around in magazines that you normally look at you will see headlines and listings for all kinds of expos that are probably in your area. If you cannot find or see that there is a car show in your area then you should just go online and look at expos and what the judges look for because you won’t want to drive for an auto show and then not win or at least win anything. You might belong to a car club so look for listings of auto shows from the club you’re in but some clubs you might have to be a paying member to go to some of the events that are being hosted there. So know what you must do and have before you start looking. The newspaper or newsletter is where you can find most listings of what is going to happen on most government property. If it isn’t at your house then you will be able to find the listings of the shows in the newspaper no problem. If you still cannot find an event to go to from the newspapers, magazines, school or wherever else that you looked then you need to just go online and look at some car show videos because it doesn’t look like you are going to any events anytime soon if you cannot find any. Even if they are just a hundred miles away that’s only like an hour and a half away if you want to go to one bad enough you will drive an hour to get to what you want. Besides it’s probably not the farthest that you have drove looking for a automotive event that you heard about and got lost trying to find. So go out and start going to car shows today. You might just be able to find one in your area that you didn’t see.

Many car dealers are using car websites to promote their inventory of vehicles and to reach more consumers and a nonthreatening way. An online showcase of cars is an extremely powerful marketing tool. Vehicle websites most certainly expand the promotional coverage for the car dealer. Anyone who goes online is a potential customer. Quality car websites offer an easily navigated site for potential customers as well. People visiting the site can shop for cars on the website from their homes. For those individuals that are seeking specific models, they can easily request the information that they need.A car website also provides valuable information about the car dealer’s company. The web site design should also include an “About Us” page in order to familiarize customer with the car dealers business. Many people are attracted to small businesses while others prefer large corporations. Also, this may be common sense but addresses and phone numbers should always be prominently displayed on the web site along with accurate directions to get to the dealership in several different ways. .Another must have feature is vehicle sourcing. The car website can have a sourcing page where a customer can ask for a specific year, make and model. The customer can also ask for a specific color and extras that are distinctly up to individual taste. This feature is very appealing to many car buyers who have something very specific in mind. Customization sells cars. It also allows the customer to check inventories without traveling far and wide, dealer to dealer. In today’s fast-paced society, a car website is a must for serious car dealers who want to expand their customer base. The easily navigated sites are easy to maintain, inexpensive and will pay for themselves hundreds of times, if not thousands of times over.

Polyalphaolefins have a complex branched structure with an olefin bond in the alpha position of one of the branches. Hydrogenated polyalphaolefins have olefin-carbons saturated with hydrogen, which lends excellent thermal stability to the molecule. Synthetic-base fluids (similar to oil muds) are made with the various types of synthetic liquids because the cuttings can be discharged in offshore waters, whereas discharge of cuttings coated with refined oils would be disallowed. Now that that is out of the way, let’s start. Because of the nature of this base stock I am going to be specific. For this article I had some in depth confirmation with AMSOIL.Let’s get started.PAO synthetic base oils start with a specified petrochemical feedstock which is then completely changed chemically; a brand new product is designed and created through a chemical reaction process. You start with ethylene, grow it to make an alphaolefin and finish with a final chemical reaction - polymerization and hydrogenation - to make a defined set of molecules, PAOs. Lower molecular weight materials are changed into higher weights. That’s the key. The desired molecular structure is designed in advance and then manufactured to explicit specifications. You end up with base oil which is absolutely consistent from batch to batch and provides performance properties - in low temperature starting and pumping, volatility, and wear protection, improved fuel economy - that cannot be matched by base oil produced by either other process, whether its solvent refined or hydroprocessed.Consistency is the most important. An example is when an umpire substitutes a baseball into a game after a home run is hit, that baseball is exactly like the one that was hit out of the park. However, if you mix baseballs with softballs, golf balls, tennis balls or billiard balls, you do not have the equivalent of PAO. But you do have the equivalent of a mineral oil refined by solvent extraction or hydroprocessing. The hydrocracked base stocks come marketed as Very High Viscosity Index (VHVI) base stocks, but are not made by a synthetic process that starts with specific raw material which is built to produce a specific end product. While they are definitely better than solvent refined base oil, don’t be mislead as they don’t have the performance properties of PAOs.Now with all that being said one of the most important features of a PAO oil is the fact that they can be ran in most engines for an extended amount of time. It is not uncommon at all to hear 25 to 30 thousand mile intervals between oil changes.

In January it seems there are two things on almost everybody’s minds: New Year’s resolutions and shopping. These may seem hard to reconcile, but with the growing market of ‘green’ and ethical consumer products, it may actually be possible to combine the two and put your money where your mouth is in terms of those good intentions. Some of the most exciting developments for environmentally aware consumers in 2008 will surely come from a surprising source: motoring and car companies. If you’re tiring of your current car - but you’re not ready to go totally green and trade it in for walking, then public transport or a bike (cycling, incidentally, is a great way to shift some of the ‘festive plumpness’ that’s often another top January concern) - it’s worth looking into the environmental impacts of various vehicles’ production and manufacture. Find out about the fuel economy and emissions levels of cars before you buy, and you could be doing a big favor to the planet, human health and your bank balance too: obviously, smaller engines with greater efficiency mean you’ll spend less on fuel while producing less harmful CO2.Climate change has been the hot topic of the year, from dinner tables to boardrooms and from muddy campsites to
Westminster and
Washington. Even
California’s Governor, one Arnold Schwarzenegger, previously seen saving the world from killer robots and Harrier-surfing terrorists, has added his distinctive voice to the lobby for cleaner, greener transport by setting ground-breaking goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the state. He plans to increase the number of hydrogen fueling stations in California (currently 25) to 200 and create a ‘hydrogen highway’ there by 2010, making it a Mecca for owners of carbon-neutral vehicles like his very own, wildly inefficient and expensive but still hydrogen-powered, ‘green Hummer’.Good news for green consumerism, then, which is big news on this side of the pond too - several hybrid and electric cars are already available here and there’s a fast-growing network of ‘biodiesel’ fueling stations across the UK, with a mix of 5% biofuel to regular diesel already common thanks to the RTFO plan. The ‘half-way house’ in the shorter term is represented by small, efficient vehicles like the new diesel Mini and the funky Smart range from Mercedes-Benz, which both also happen to be pretty fantastic in terms of looks.Another thing to bear in mind whether you’re looking for a new vehicle or just to cut the costs of your driving is car insurance - it’s vital to ensure this is up to date each year, as the law is quite clear that you can’t drive without it. The car you choose will affect your premium, as will many other factors like your driving history, whether the car is kept in a garage, and even having a tracking device installed (often included with satellite navigation systems) can mean a big saving. You can also often save by taking out car and home insurance from the same provider, or simply through a loyalty discount once you’ve found the company that’s right for you.
